We are thrilled to announce that Toly has received an Ecovadis Gold Medal for its CSR initiatives for the second year in a row. This award places us among the top 5% of companies assessed by Ecovadis.
Ecovadis is a universally recognised sustainability rating that encompasses over 75,000 entities in over 160 countries and over 200 industries. This award recognises Toly Products' achievements and efforts in the areas of ethical behavior, labor and human rights, environmental effect, and sustainable procurement.
As part of our sustainability initiatives, we have focused on reducing emissions by investing in more efficient production processes. We have replaced all our hydraulic injection moulding machines with fully electric machines and photovoltaic panels that will generate 400KW/h of energy or approximately 20% of our total demand.
Our sustainable design guidelines help us reduce the environmental impact of our products. We use recyclable materials, bio-based materials, and biodegradable materials to minimize our footprint. We're committed to being environmentally responsible, and our guidelines help us achieve that goal.
Additionally, Toly has achieved a B-score in CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project). This is a crucial score which places Toly in the Management band for climate change, showing that the Group is taking action on climate issues. We have improved our score from a D in 2019, to a B in 2021.
CDP is widely recognised as a gold standard for annual environmental disclosure and scoring of corporate environmental transparency.
These two prestigious awards solidify the fact that Toly's efforts towards a more sustainable future have proved to be leaving a significant influence and a positive impact on everybody and everything we touch. We want to make the world a better place for future generations.
French and Spanish youth inspired to Think Different in a visit at TOLY’s Head Offices
A group of academic youths, undergoing a Master’s Degree in International Commerce at the Université de Cergy Pontoise in Paris, was yesterday welcomed by TOLY CEO & Chairman Mr. Andy Gatesy and Chief Marketing Officer Ms. Dorien Bianco for a tour of the Head Offices to attain insight on the way the organisation conducts its business worldwide.
