In 2018, the Toly Group surpassed its milestone of €100 million.
To be precise, we achieved a sales figure of €104.3 million in what we invoice our customers in the beauty industry including our partners.
A fantastic result, two years ahead of our original plan. In fact, our business has doubled over the last four years since 2014.
Our theme for 2019 is "Scaling Up", as we have set our next milestone to achieve a €250 million business.
On the operations side, we are investing heavily in manufacturing, with a new 8,000 sqm Toly Korea Manufacturing plant officially opened in April 2018.
In Malta we are building a brand new 20,000 sqm plant, which will be officially opened at the end of June 2019, and our airless joint venture Toly Airless packaging is also building a brand new 20,000 sqm factory, to open later this year.
The group is investing in new business models for further growth.
Beauty Trill is our take on full service with a difference, offering our customers ready-to-go filled products on trend with customer expectations.
Toly Deluxe is our luxury paper division, with a core focus upon paper palettes, in line with our exclusive contract for beauty with Hung Hing.
Toly Design Studio offers customers branding as well as full design services, and our innovation lab for applicators is creating a real buzz as we create a host of new applicators across different categories, such as brows, lips, and face.
All of this is wrapped up in our spirit for innovation, where we invite our customers to Malta to join workshops to create innovative solutions to customer frustrations.
In addition, we have our alliance partnerships with Sussex IM (USA), Goldrain (China), Taiki and Sinwa (Japan), and Simex (Colombia), to support our growth strategy and international customer base.
All industries are being disrupted, including the beauty industry.
Toly needs to continue to disrupt the packaging industry, and is doing this by creating a beauty product development platform.
With this platform, today we offer our customers manufacturing, sourcing, full service, design capabilities, and innovation partnerships.
Our scaling up plan also includes our human resource plan, where we are strengthening all levels of the organisation:

Toly pivots its resources together with other Maltese companies to create mechanical breathing device to support local health authorities during the Covid 19 crisis
The recent COVID-19 pandemic has put a strain on the medical and healthcare facilities as well as global economy. It has also highlighted the need for more investment and thought being put into simple medical devices which are specifically design for rapid manufacturing and deployment.
Toly Products and CVA Silicone have signed an exclusive alliance to disrupt the beauty applicator world. Both company's have decided to partner in developing amazing new application systems to bring value to both brands and their consumers. The two companies will co-develop highly innovative applicators, with a specific focus on silicon, which will be manufactured by CVA Silicone and sold by Toly Products. This strategic and exclusive agreement was fostered by complementary strengths and know-how as well as strong common values.
Toly Group Visit Deputy Prime Minister
June 2019 will see Toly Group opening a new manufacturing factory in Malta, with an investment of €20 million. Toly has been manufacturing make-up packaging in Malta since 1971, being the first to launch operations from the Bulebel Industrial Zone. The company employs over 1000 employees worldwide, of which 350 work from Malta.

Allowing the visitor the ability to appreciate not only Toly’s history but also providing more insight on CSR and awards which resonates with the brand’s motto: passionate about packaging.
Toly signs exclusive partnership with Hung Hing for beauty
With its heritage in plastic packaging, over the past few years Toly has broadened its product offering to include luxury paper packaging. In 2012, Toly formed Toly Deluxe and partnered with Hung Hing Offset Printing to offer its customers luxury rigid paper over board packaging.
Toly Korea Manufacturing officially opens its brand new factory
Earlier this year, Toly's latest manufacturing plant was officially opened - Toly Korea Manufacturing (TKM), in Bucheon City, Seoul. Toly's history in Korea goes back nearly 15 years and today represents over one third of the Group's revenue.
Toly Scoops the awards at the 1st Malta International Business Awards
Toly Group wins the prestigious award as Exporter Of The Year in the Large Business Category, as well as the Overall winner across all categories including innovation and the potential for continued growth. 2017 is proving to be the most successful year in the history of the company. At the end of October, Group sales were almost 30% up on 2016.
On 19th January, 2015 the Prime Minister of Malta, in the presence of many distinguished guests, officially opened Toly's brand new corporate offices with integrated innovation centre. Over the past 5 years all of Toly's corporate functions have been moved to Malta including; marketing, design, innovation, group finance, logistics and information technology.
