On August 28th, the Honourable Minister Silvio Schembri – Minister for the Economy, Investment, and Small Business, paid an official visit to Toly’s manufacturing plant in Malta.
Welcoming him to this new plant, Andy Gatesy, Chairman & CEO of the Toly Group, highlighted Toly’s strong core values and core purpose: “To make a positive impact on everything and everybody that touches Toly.”

Whilst this pandemic has affected the beauty industry, with order entry below the 2020 budget, at the beginning of the crisis Toly made a commitment to keep people safe, save jobs, and retain the soul of the company, and so far we are proud that we have done a good job.
Toly remains a privately-owned business with a strong family spirit, is customer-centric with a global commercial structure, and technically proficient, with state-of-the-art manufacturing.
Toly has also created a business model that is agile and innovative, and disrupting the traditional packaging business.

Minister Schembri commented how captivated and impressed he was seeing the investment Toly has made in Malta whilst working with 23 of the world’s top 30 global beauty brands.

Our paperfoam godet holder is a revolutionary packaging solution that is both eco-friendly and unique. The biodegradable material is 100% home-compostable and recyclable along with paper. The unique molding process also allows us to create forms and shapes that are not possible with conventional card manufacturing. Additionally, the godet holder design allows the consumer to easily refill the pack by pushing out the godet from a hole in the bottom of the holder.
